Manchego cheese is far from being the best known Spanish cheese worldwide. It has a typical zigzag grass pattern on its rind that is pressed onto the top and bottom wheels of the cheese. This celebrated cheese has won gold and silver award at the 2014 World Cheese Awards.
Manchego is a delicious cheese for tapas platters and pairs perfectly with quince paste and red wine.
