Tomme de Savoie cheese is a semi-soft, pressed cheese with a pliable and firm texture. It is made from raw, skimmed cow’s milk after the cream has been drained off to make butter.

The taste of the cheese varies depending on whether the milk is coming from cows eating summer grass or winter hay. The main flavors are of grass, nuts, and rusticity. You should expect strong odors of slight citrus and mushroom notes.
